Lending a Hand

Brokers are in the business of helping people. There’s plenty of research out there that supports the importance improving someone else’s life. Lending a hand betters the giver’s physical and emotional health. Studies also show it reduces depression and increases self-esteem and confidence. It can boost happiness, lower blood pressure, and improve an immune system––all while strengthening human connections. I find that helping (as a broker and a regular person 🙂) puts me in a better frame of mind and fuels my success in business and life.

From the formal ways of volunteering, mentoring, and teaching, to the small gestures of kindness, helping can have a big impact and how we move through the world together. By simply acting with intention, goodwill, and generosity, you may live a better and longer life while improving someone else’s along the way. What’s not to like? 🙂
